The mids and first-place Raiders will meet in New York State on Saturday

• The second half of the Patriot League season begins Saturday with the two teams meeting tied for first place in the Patriot League standings when Navy (10-7, 7-1) play Colgate (14-4, 7-1) at 2 p.m., in Hamilton, NY

• Bucknell has served for the second set five times and Navy has served for the set three times.
• The Bison served four times in the game, then the Mids converted on their third chance to win the game.
• The Navy held a 70-54 lead in kills and a 17-7 advantage in blocks. That helped the Mids hit a .216-.126 cushion in hitting percentage.
• The Mids hurt themselves with 17 serve errors, which contrasts with the Bison’s four serve errors. Navy held a 5-2 lead for the aces.
Jordan Llewellyn tied a career high with 24 kills and hit .413. She also had 14 digs.
Jamie Llewellyn posted 18 kills and 13 digs.
• The Llewellyn sisters were responsible for 11 of Navy’s 12 kills in the fifth set. Six were by Jordan, including the game’s final two points.
Averi Miller finished with 56 assists, 10 digs, seven blocks and five kills.
Katie Jackowski entered the match late in the first set when Ava Toppin was injured. Jackowski did not kill or block in either of the two sets she appeared in this season before the match. She had six kills and eight blocks in the game against the Bison.

Overview Colgate
• Colgate hosts the Mids with a 15-4 overall record and a 7-1 record in the Patriot League. The Raiders saw their 11-game winning streak come to an end last week when they lost to the Mids.
• Colgate recorded a four-set victory at Lehigh the day after losing to Navy, then beat Binghamton in four sets on Wednesday night.
• Colgate and Navy first met in 1979. The Raiders hold a 43-18 all-time series advantage over the Mids. That includes a 22-5 lead in games played at Hamilton.
• Colgate also leads the Navy, 36-17, in Patriot League regular season games, a record that includes a 20-5 advantage in championship games played in Hamilton.
• The teams met three times last season. The Mids won in three sets (26-24, 25-21, 25-19) at Annapolis, the Raiders won a match in four sets (25-15, 27-29, 25-11, 25-20 ) in Hamilton and then Colgate beat Navy in four sets (25-17, 18-25, 25-20, 25-14) in the semi-final of the Patriot League tournament which was played in Hamilton.

Jordan Llewellyn Again named player of the week
Jordan Llewellyn repeated as Patriot League Player of the Week on October 11.
• She averaged 4.44 kills, 0.56 aces and 2.67 kills per set and reached 0.429 in both Navy wins over the weekend.
• She started with 16 kills, a .452 attack percentage and 10 digs in the Navy’s 3-1 win over Colgate.
• Llewellyn went on to post a career-high 24 kills with just five offensive errors on 46 attempts for a .413 hitting performance in the Navy’s 3-2 win at Bucknell. She had six kills and just one attacking error on nine swings (.556) in the fifth set, with her kills accounting for the final two points in a 21-19 fifth-set victory by the Mids. Llewellyn also had 14 digs and added three aces and three blocks in the game.
