New Dual GM named for Hyatt House and Hyatt Place Chicago/Naperville/Warrenville

Commonwealth Hotels announced today that Max Schultz has been named General Manager of Hyatt House and Hyatt Place Chicago/Naperville/Warrenville.

Mr. Schultz brings more than 15 years of hospitality experience to his new role as General Manager, having previously served as Director of Operations for the Chicago Hyatt Place O’Hare Airport.

“We are delighted to welcome Mr. Schultz to the team,” said Jennifer Porter, Chief Operating Officer for Commonwealth Hotels.

“Max’s experience, proven track record and leadership will add tremendous value to hotels, guests and associates.”

As General Manager, Schultz is responsible for overseeing and executing both operations of the hotel, including personnel management, guest satisfaction and community relations.

Prior to joining Hyatt House and Hyatt Place, Schultz held various management positions at Hyatt Place Hoffman Estates, Hyatt Place Chicago/Lombard/Oakbrook, Comfort Inn in Joliet and Holiday Inn and Suites in Bolingbrook.

Schultz holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Roosevelt University.

Commonwealth Hotels, LLC was founded in 1986 and currently manages 61 properties with nearly 7,600 rooms.
