Kate Middleton helps young girl place Corgi toy among Queen tributes

Kate Middleton has ruled the hearts of fans after helping a young girl place her corgi toy among the tributes to the Queen.

The newly named Princess of Wales on September 15 came out to greet a crowd of mourners gathered outside the late monarch’s Norfolk residence with Prince William.

Fans of the 40-year-old royal left swooned when she spotted an eight-year-old schoolgirl in the crowd.

Kate then took the girl to the flower carpet laid in honor of the late Queen and helped her place the toy among the tributes.

According Daily Mail, the daughter, named Elizabeth Sulkovska, recalled the touching moment: “I went with her to drop off the flowers and the corgi. She said, ‘Where do you think we should put the flowers?’ and I said ‘We should put them over there.’

Georgory Hill – a headmaster of the girls’ school, shared: “Elizabeth was overwhelmed, she cried with joy to be chosen. It’s just a wonderful, amazing opportunity.

“The older generation obviously knew the Queen for longer, but young children who haven’t known the Queen for a long time on the throne are still very moved by her passing and really want to do their best to celebrate her life and her legacy and never forget it,” he added.
