In her spectacular show against England, Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur gained significant places in the ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings on Tuesday and jumped four areas, reaching fifth position. She leads many Indian players who made quick gains in the standings after the team’s 3-0 sweep in England. Harmanpreet had an unbeaten 143 on 111 balls in Game 2 at Canterbury. Fly-half Smriti Mandhana and all-rounder Deepti Sharma have also moved up in the updated rankings which take into account performances from the last two games and the series between the Windies and New Zealand.
