Crypto Unicorn CoinSwitch Earns “Great Place to Work” Certification

Crypto unicorn CoinSwitch Kuber received “Great Place to Work” certification in recognition of crypto investment startup ownership and workplace culture and health benefits and rewards, the company said in a statement.

CoinSwitch — which has grown its employee base from 20 to 500 in less than two years — recently completed its first stock option buyout worth $2.5 million in a bid to to recognize the contribution of its employees to the rapid growth it has witnessed, adding more than 15 million users on the crypto investment app in just 20 months since it has been operating in India.

“At CoinSwitch, we are bringing together a team of highly motivated and talented employees to build the future of the internet, Web3, in India, in a fun and engaging workplace. It therefore gives me immense pride to be recognized as a Great Place to Work. This survey has also provided us with actionable insights that can help us maintain our position as the employer of choice in India’s crypto and wealth tech space,” said Ashish Singhal, Co-Founder and CEO of CoinSwitch. .

Great Place to Work, the world’s authority on workplace culture, has surveyed over 100 million employees worldwide since 1992, using this in-depth insight to define what makes a great place to work while giving leaders the feedback, real-time reports and insights they need to make strategic people decisions.

“At CoinSwitch, we believe in creating an employee-centric culture. Our best benefits and unique benefits are determined based on feedback from our employees. We are not only proud of the Great Place to Work certification, but also delighted that our employees took the time to rate us on over 60 metrics that made us a Great Place to Work,” said Zeeshan Ramlan, Head of Human Resources, CoinSwitch.

“Employees are at the heart of everything we do…Across the employee lifecycle, we ensure their experience is unique by establishing effective communication and collaboration, adding unique perks, and creating a path between employees and management,” Singhal added.

Based in Bengaluru but headquartered in Singapore, CoinSwitch earlier announced that it plans to grow its number of employees to 1,500 from around 500 over the next few years.
